App terms

These terms cover the Watson Life Strategies hypnosis apps: Rise with Purpose and WLS Leadership Hypnosis. The apps are provided by Lindsay Watson, trading as Watson Life Strategies (ABN 98 000 908 172), Canberra, ACT. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them. Using the sessions safely
The sessions are guided self-hypnosis for relaxation, focus and personal development. They are not medical, psychological or psychiatric treatment, and they don't replace advice from your doctor or another health professional.
- Never listen while driving, operating machinery, or doing anything that needs your full attention.
- Check with your doctor before using the sessions if you have epilepsy or seizures, a psychotic illness, severe depression, or another serious mental health condition.
- If you're using nicotine replacement, quit medication, or a medical diet, keep following your doctor's advice.
- Stop a session if you feel uncomfortable. You can open your eyes and stop at any time.
- If you're in crisis, call 000 or Lifeline on 13 11 14. For ongoing anxiety or low mood, talk to your GP or call Beyond Blue on 1300 22 4636.
The apps are for adults aged 18 and over.
Accounts
- An account is for one person. Keep your password private.
- A free account unlocks the starter series: Start Here in Rise with Purpose, and Getting Started in WLS Leadership Hypnosis.
- Accounts and sign-in are provided by Memberstack. See our privacy page for how your details are handled.
Subscriptions and billing
A subscription unlocks the full library of one app. The two apps are subscribed to separately.

- Prices are in Australian dollars. Where GST applies, it is included.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month, and you're charged the same amount, until you cancel.
- If we change a price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you. You can cancel before then.
- If a payment fails, access to the full library may pause until it's resolved.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time in the app: Account → Manage subscription. You'll keep full access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again. Your free account and the starter series stay available.
Refunds
We don't usually refund the unused part of a month after you cancel. If you've been charged in error, or something isn't working as it should, email us and we'll put it right.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our services come with guarantees that can't be excluded, including that they will be provided with due care and skill. If there's a major failure, you're entitled to a refund.
The recordings
The scripts and recordings are the original work of Watson Life Strategies. Your subscription is for your own personal listening. Please don't copy, download, share, resell or publish the sessions, or share your account.
Changes
We'll keep adding and improving sessions, and may occasionally retire one. If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we'll let you know by email or in the app before the change applies.
Our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything to do with the apps is limited to supplying the service again or refunding what you paid for the current period. This doesn't affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory.
